If you are one of those types who gets spurred to action by orgasmic statistics, (I am not), here is a likely candidate: As per Data Bridge Market Research, “Global food traceability market is expected to rise to an estimated value of USD 24.49 billion by 2026, registering a substantial CAGR of 9.30% during the forecast period of 2019-2026”.
Maybe it is an insider’s bias.
It grates me when I hear people sing feel-good kumbayas about Traceability: Large food brands joining hands with farmers and suppliers to rebuild trust and transparency, thereby empowering farmers’ lives.
